Vanderbilt Honors Legendary Songwriting Duo Felice and Boudleaux Bryant

Vanderbilt's Blair School of Music honored legendary songwriting team Felice and Boudleaux Bryant Friday, September 28 in Nashville. The parents of BMI President and CEO Del Bryant and Music City real estate mogul Dane Bryant, the couple penned 31 songs for another icon pair - The Everly Brothers. "Wake Up Little Susie," "Bye Bye Love" and "All I Have to Do Is Dream" number among the Everly classics co-written by Felice and Boudleaux. Recognized as the first professional songwriters to live and work in Nashville, the Bryants also composed "Rocky Top," "Love Hurts," "Bird Dog," "She Wears My Ring" and "Raining in My Heart."
