BMI Presents ‘Voices of Tomorrow’ Panel and Showcase

BMI, in conjunction with non-profit educational organization Add Joy to Learning, will sponsor the “Voices of Tomorrow” industry executive panel and music showcase featuring performances by area high school students. This unique educational event will take place on Thursday, January 30 from 7pm-9pm at Walker Stage (56 Walker Street) in New York City.

Hosted by Cinti Laird of “Cinti's Comedy Pageant,” this informative, educational panel features music industry veterans including entertainment attorney Wallace Collins of Serling, Rooks and Ferrara, recording engineer Dennis Ferrante, songwriter Alex Forbes, Jive Records’ Jimmy Maynes, Cherry Lane Music’s Al Smith and producer Joe Zampano. Performances feature students from the Add Joy to Learning program who attend various high schools throughout the New York City area including Raheem Clark, Jeffrey Duncan, Ill & Decent, Intaface, Janet O and Nero James.

BMI is proud to sponsor Add Joy to Learning (AJL), a non-profit program dedicated to teaching the various aspects of the music industry to inner-city youth. Please contact Audrey Levine for more information.
