Robbin Ahrold, Vice President, Corporate Communications and Marketing

As Vice President, Corporate Communications and Marketing, Robbin Ahrold oversees BMI’s marketing, advertising, media relations, editorial services, and creative services activities. He also oversees BMI’s online information activities, including the company’s Internet site, bmi.com.

Prior to joining BMI in March 1987, Ahrold was Vice President, Communications at RCA Records, and held several positions at Home Box Office, including Director, Corporate Affairs. Before joining HBO, he served for seven years on the staff of Time magazine. He holds a BS in Economics from Georgetown University’s Foreign Service School.

He serves on the Communications Committee of CISAC, and is a Board member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame, a Governor of the New York chapter of the Recording Academy, and a voting member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the Country Music Association and the Gospel Music Association.
